Cubs is it a course or not?

I have found thisaseball season one of the most exciting seasons in a very long time. If you look at the future playoff picture you have the Tampa Bay Rays in the playoffs who are only one win away from an AL East division title. On the other end you have the Chi Town Cubs. They have not won a world series in 100 years. This year for the Cubs is a big one. They have home field advantage through the NL playoffs and have the best record in the NL. The media is feeding off this story. A few years ago Cubs hopes for a world series apperiance for this life time at least went right out the window when Steve Bartman tried to do what any other fan would do by trying to catch a foul ball. The only problem there were two out in the 7th and Steve was the one who caught the ball when left fielder Alou had it in the glove. Everyone in the windy city hates poor old Steve who ended up leaving the state because of all the death threats.

Now that the Cubs nation is on top of the baseball world and believe its their year finally. They might want to keep crossing their fingers because when october comes anything can happen. Cubs fans have already gotten their World Series tickets but so have the Angels, Rays, and all the other teams that have clinched a playoff spot. All i am saying is Cubs fans might want to just keep this whole world series thing hush hush. If the media keeps exploiting the Cubs team and say that the fans deserve a world series title, the media better start switching it up by telling every Cubs fan to start going with new superstitions because the old ones have not seemed to work for a 100 years. Cub fans are in trouble, you are coursed and always be, not! There is no course, the team and the fans need stop making excuses and just start playing baseball, thats how you win ask anyone, just score more than the other guys, best of luck Cubs your going to need it!

Lil Wayne and Women = Business Man

Lil Wayne is the one of the biggest rappers in the rap industry today. His raps are unique and have many metaphors throughout his work. In many rap songs, as well as Lil Wayne’s lyrics, Wayne puts down women. If you really listen to what his meanings are to his songs you will see what he  is really trying to get out to the world. I feel his messages in his songs, are degrading to women. I feel that they are great selling lyrics for him to make money off of, but i feel he is just selling the wrong message to our young adults around the country. Sex sells in this world today, and the rap industry is benefiting from that, and the media. Lil Wayne is not the only rapper, there are tons more, but he is one of the hottest song writer out there. I think that the song Lollipop, which is the number one song most played in the US. This songs talks about women, and just how they are ex bendable, and every girl wants and is “licking” Lil Wayne “Like a lollipop”. Wayne is degrading women, in my opinion, but hey he is a biz-ness man so why not, if its selling, and is on top of the charts. Great, wish i thought of the idea first, Lil Wayne is the Donald Trump of the rap industry, WOW!

Female’s and the Media

Female’s (women) and the media get along quite well if you ask me. It seems like they are best friends. Everywhere you go, you can see women, in new paper, magazine, TV ad, or even on the side of a bus. What i am trying to say is that the female sex, is becoming the face of your entire world. The next question I will ask, “Is this a good thing or a bad thing for the world”. Well i look at it in two ways. First, is this something we want our little girls striving to be. Just fake, computer enhanced bodies, that are so desirable by both males and females, but the problem is neither one will ever achieve this goal that is unreachable. I just feel we should not  be selling something to our children that is not real!
